A Visit to the Greenhouse

I wander the aisles

In search of spring

Camera cocked and at the ready

Shafts of golden, morning light filter softly through the windows up above

The humidity beads on my face

Rows and rows of growing things lovingly attended to beckon me to come near

Shapely leaves splayed, striped, and speckled, clamor over each other

Clusters of delicate flowers effuse secure in their own beauty

Colour splotches can’t help but stand out against the more sedate green

Prickly, bristly, sticky, rippling

Wide open or clenched

All wild and wonderful and quietly waiting

To make their way into somebody’s garden

All of the pics in this post are mine, taken at a recent trip to the greenhouse. 🙂 Posts come out when I feel like it. 😀 Scroll down to the bottom of the page to follow me or sign up to receive my posts via email.
